Jackson Hole 2026
Where Hyperscalers Meet the Next Generation of Energy
April 1–2, 2026
The Cloudveil, Jackson Hole, Wyoming
A private working summit convening senior leaders from hyperscalers, data center developers, energy utilities, regulators, and financiers for an off-the-record, solutions-focused dialogue.
Summit Objective
Shaping the Next Generation of
Data-Power Infrastructure
A private working summit for senior leaders shaping the next generation of data-power infrastructure. Participants will distill lessons from Wyoming’s energy and digital campus projects, define frameworks for national adoption, and translate shared insights into investable pathways.
Wyoming combines ample land, clean power, and a stable regulatory environment creating a uniquely investable platform for power-dense infrastructure. The state’s leadership has positioned Wyoming as a proving ground for scalable, energy-secure digital campuses.
Why Wyoming
The Wyoming Advantage

Ample Land + Siting Readiness
Wyoming offers vast, developable parcels with favorable terrain and proximity to existing transmission corridors—ideal for large-scale data center and energy campus development. With the lowest population density in the lower 48 states, Wyoming provides the physical space and buffer zones that hyperscale facilities require without the land-use conflicts common in more developed regions.

Firm Power Pathways
A diverse generation portfolio spanning advanced nuclear, natural gas, wind, and solar provides reliable, scalable power for high-density compute loads. Wyoming is the nation’s top coal and uranium producer and a leading natural gas state, while also ranking among the top wind energy producers. TerraPower’s Natrium reactor under construction in Kemmerer signals a new era of firm, zero-carbon baseload generation purpose-built for industrial demand.

Regulatory & Permitting Clarity
A business-friendly permitting environment with streamlined approval processes and a governor’s office actively championing energy and technology investment. Wyoming has no state corporate income tax, no personal income tax, and one of the lowest overall tax burdens in the nation—creating a compelling fiscal environment for capital-intensive data center projects.

Execution Culture + Partnerships
A collaborative ecosystem of state agencies, utilities, universities, and private developers aligned on building the next generation of digital infrastructure. Wyoming’s identity is rooted in energy production—from legacy coal and oil to a forward-looking embrace of nuclear, wind, and hydrogen. This deep energy culture means communities understand large infrastructure projects, workforces are experienced in construction and operations, and local leaders actively partner with developers rather than resist them.

Natural Cooling Climate
Wyoming’s high-altitude, semi-arid climate provides a decisive advantage for data center operations. Average annual temperatures hover around 45°F with low humidity, enabling free-air cooling for the majority of the year. This dramatically reduces the energy required for mechanical cooling—often the single largest operating cost for data centers—resulting in lower PUE ratios and significant long-term savings compared to facilities in warmer or more humid climates.

Deep Energy Heritage
Wyoming has powered America for over a century and brings that same reliability mindset to the digital age. The state’s workforce is steeped in energy operations—from pipeline construction and power plant maintenance to high-voltage transmission. This translates directly to the skilled labor pool that data centers need for both buildout and ongoing operations, without the talent competition and wage inflation seen in coastal tech hubs.
